CONS-140A Commercial Drivers Learner’s Permit Preparation (2 units) Description: This course will guide the student through the California Department of Motor Vehicles Drivers Handbook to prepare them for the Commercial Learners Permit written exam. This course can fulfill the theory requirements of the Entry Level Driver Training requirements CONS-140B Intermediate Class A Driver’s License Training Description: This is an intermediate level course to give students basic skills to obtain Commercial Class A Driver’s License, emphasizing safe operations, pre-operations inspections, and on-road driving skills. This course can fulfill the behind-the-wheel section of Entry Level Driver Training requirements. Drive time availability is subject to change and can require out-of-class time commitments.
